To my fellow Airmont residents:

I am saddened by new information that I have obtained over the past couple of days about running for Trustee for the Village of Airmont. Given my current position as a law enforcement officer with the New York City Police Department, I am unable to continue to run for trustee. As per the Patrolmen’s Guide, I would be violating Section 1129 of the New York City Charter. It states that I am prohibited to accept a nomination for office while currently employed by the NYPD. With this, I will have to formally withdraw from the Preserve Airmont ticket.
